Kristina Lunz is an entrepreneur, author, and founder. She is currently an Ideation Fellow at EWOR, a fellowship for exceptional founders selected from the top 0.1% of more than 40,000 applicants worldwide. In 2018, she founded the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy (CFFP), which she led as CEO for eight years. Under her leadership, CFFP became one of the world’s leading organisations advancing feminist approaches to foreign and security policy. Following Germany’s adoption of a feminist foreign policy, the then Foreign Minister publicly credited Kristina and CFFP with helping shape the debate that contributed to the government’s decision. Kristina is the author of the bestselling book The Future of Foreign Policy is Feminist, which was translated into English and brought her to leading institutions and stages around the world, including Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, the United Nations, and international forums across Europe and North America. In 2024, she published her second book, Empathy and Resistance (Ullstein Verlag), exploring how empathy and resistance together can drive social and political change. In 2026, she co-authored Who Gave You Permission to Hate Women?, a manifesto calling for stronger action against male violence and for a society in which everyone can live safely and freely. Before founding CFFP, Kristina worked for the United Nations in New York and Myanmar, a women’s rights organisation in Colombia, and as an advisor to the German Federal Foreign Office. From 2022 to 2024, she served on the Advisory Group of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers Initiative, supporting efforts to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She holds Master’s degrees from the University of Oxford and University College London. In 2022, she was selected as the German face of Giorgio Armani’s Crossroads campaign, highlighting women shaping the future of society, culture, and politics.
